Shelly Devlin offers private brass lessons to students of all levels and all ages (9 and up). She believes that taking music lessons should be fun and exciting! Her studio provides professional instruction presented in a dynamic and positive way.

Shelly has taught private lessons in the Puget Sound area since 2000 and maintains an active schedule in the community as an educator and mentor. Shelly has also provided motivational trumpet and brass clinics to Northwest Washington area schools and has worked with student brass sections in preparation for large group contests.

In January 2008, Shelly was honored to be invited to teach High Brass Techniques at the University of Washington where she gave future music educators a solid foundation on the development of a successful brass embouchure. Shelly also taught the 2007-2017 Beginning Brass Exploration Camp in Tacoma, Washington where she introduced young potential musicians to instruments in the brass family.
